Design Size - see the print area above for the mouse mat and/or coaster you require. Keep important data 5mm away from the edges. If artwork is to bleed off the mat or coaster add 2mm overlap to the actual 'size' with Photoshop files saved as 300dpi.
Logos, graphic and lettering - Vector based artwork is preferred for most types of printing, particularly spot colours. Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw are the preferred programs, please save as formats .ai, .cdr. or .eps files. Ensure any placed images have a resolution of 300dpi and image size should be at least 100% of intended print size.
Save all fonts to outlines or curves and specify Pantone print colour codes if known.
Digital Photographs or Full Colour work - If you want a photograph or full colour bitmap artwork printed then the following formats are acceptable: .psd, .jpeg, .pdf, .eps.
Fonts - If you have used text, convert all the text to outlines by selecting 'Type' - 'Create Outlines' in Adobe Illustrator or 'Arrange' - 'Convert to Curves' in Corel Draw. This is very important as it will allow us to view your files as they were designed, instead of having our program convert your fonts to one that is installed. If you can't convert the text to outlines then make sure you supply us with the appropriate fonts.
File Sizes - For files of up to 20Mb please email your artwork to sales@britematmousemat. co.uk, together with your full contact details. If the file size is larger than 20Mb then please post us your CD or DVD Rom to the address on our contact page.
Web Images - Images taken from websites in general are not be suitable for printing as the quality is very low and the print will be pixilated. Always try to get the original logo or image file in the formats mentioned above.
